We created a new website for Restaurant Cook’s, focusing on usability, aesthetics, accessibility, and sustainable web design principles. The goal was to reflect the restaurant’s exclusive atmosphere while making it easy for visitors to explore the menu and book a table online.
We developed the site in WordPress using Elementor and the Astra theme to ensure responsiveness and ease of maintenance. Certain advanced functions, such as the takeaway page, full online ordering, and payment integration, were not implemented within the project scope, as the focus was on design, user experience, and front-end features.
These features are still under development and will be added in the future

The Restaurant Cook’s project focused on creating a website that reflects the restaurant’s atmosphere while supporting its sustainability values. A dark, elegant color palette and premium food imagery create an exclusive feel, with typography and spacing enhancing readability in a minimalistic layout.
User needs were the top priority. Although a background video is not fully accessibility-friendly, it was important for the target audience’s experience and was carefully styled to avoid distraction.
I handled the desktop version, visual design, and creation of a new exclusive logo to strengthen brand identity. The site was built with performance, accessibility, and SEO in mind. While the main focus was on menu presentation and table booking, the architecture also supports a takeaway section, online ordering, and payment integration, which are still in development and will be launched in a future phase.
